The Hotel Hacienda El Jaral was founded in 1870 by Francisco Fiallos. Born in Comayagua, Don Francisco built Hacienda El Jaral into an economic mainstay of the Copan River Valley.
The Hacienda El Jaral boasts 22 rooms, bar, swimming pool, billiard tables, convinience store, a boutique, cinema, gymnasium, and the "herons sanctuary" lagoon All this sorrounded by the beautiful mountains of Copan's valley.
